Pilot

1. I always loved boats and as a teenager I would watch the guys race. As soon as I had money I bought my first boat.

2. Started in 1989 in the 550 class

3. We are busy competing in our 4th season together.

4. I am a director at the family furniture store.

5. Raced Motorcross at regional level.
Played rugby in the army.

6. It’s a great sport and a lot of fun. Start small in a class that is easy to manage finacially and you will find it to be cheapest form of motorsport. The right advice in priceless. Never buy equipment without testing it. Never do your testing on race day. Be focused determined to win, but humble in victory.

7. We are looking forward to this event. It is the first time we have been able to compete in our class internationally. The team are working hard and very focused and I believe
we will be achieve our goal.Good luck to all.

Co-pilot

1. I was born and bred in PE and have been a "waterbaby" my whole life. In the late 80's, I started noticing these inflatable "rubber ducks", which looked quite different back then, I might add. Their versatility and ease of use, at a very reasonable price, was very appealing to me. When I witnessed them racing for the first time, I knew this would be a sport for me.

2. My first full racing season was 1992 in the now redundant P550 class.

3. This is our 3rd season together!

4. I am a Senior Project Engineer for a design and manufacturing concern that supplies primarily to the Automotive industry.

5. I have dabbled in just about every local ball sport, cricket, golf, soccer & squash just to name a few. I'm also a social moto-x enduro rider and mountain biker. So "No" to other "special" talents.

6. It is a team sport, so try get involved with someone you know well and with whom you have a good understanding. Be prepared mentally and physically. Practice as often as possible in all weather and surf conditions. Most of all have fun but put safety first at all times.

7. Welcome to our waters! Best of luck to you all!
